Pocket Planner (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Pocket Planner application available at https://www.musarium.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, including data accessed through Google APIs.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data:

Account Information

  • Email address (used for account creation and authentication)

User Content

  • Tasks, lists, habits, goals, routines, and other data you create inside the app

Google User Data
If you choose to connect your Google account, we access:

  • Google Calendar data (read-only), including event titles, dates, and times

We do not access, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the Pocket Planner app

  • Display your tasks, routines, and dashboard data

  • Sync and display your Google Calendar events inside the app

  • Improve app performance and fix issues

  • Communicate with you about your account if needed

Google Calendar data is used only to display your events inside Pocket Planner.
We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

3. Google User Data (Specific Disclosure)

Pocket Planner uses Google APIs in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

  • We only request the minimum necessary scope:
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly

  • We access your calendar data only after you explicitly grant permission

  • We use this data strictly to display your events inside your planner dashboard

  • We do not modify, delete, or write to your Google Calendar

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data or Google user data.

We may share limited data with the following categories of service providers:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (to run the app)

  • Database providers (to store your app data)

  • Authentication providers (to manage login securely)

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are required to protect it.

We do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

5. Data Storage and Protection

  • Your data is stored on secure servers

  • We use standard security measures to protect data in transit and at rest

  • Access to user data is restricted to systems and services required to operate the app

While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access or misuse.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

If you disconnect your Google account:

  • We stop accessing your Google data immediately

  • Any previously synced calendar data stored in the app may remain unless deleted

7. Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your data at any time.

You can:

  • Delete data directly within the app (tasks, lists, etc.)

  • Disconnect your Google account to stop data access

We will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe after your request.

8. Your Choices

You can:

  • Choose whether or not to connect your Google account

  • Revoke Google access at any time through your Google account settings

  • Stop using the app at any time

9. Third-Party Services

Pocket Planner uses third-party services to operate (such as hosting, authentication, and database providers). These services may process data on our behalf but do not have permission to use it for their own purposes.

10. Children’s Privacy

Pocket Planner is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
