# Terms of Service for Pocket Planner

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pocket Planner app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Pocket Planner, you agree to these Terms.

- interfere with the security or operation of the Services
- use the Services for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to Pocket Planner, including tasks, notes, schedules, goals, journal entries, and similar materials ("Your Content").
You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content only as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content.
## 6. Google Calendar Integration
Pocket Planner may allow you to connect your Google Calendar account.
If you choose to connect Google Calendar:
- you authorize Pocket Planner to access your Google Calendar data on a read-only basis
- Pocket Planner uses that access to sync calendar events into Pocket Planner for display within the app
- Pocket Planner does not use this integration to create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events on your behalf
Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
## 7. Third-Party Services
Pocket Planner may rely on or interoperate with third-party services, including hosting, authentication, and calendar providers. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability, policies, or actions.
## 8. Service Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss of data.
## 9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:
- you violate these Terms
- we believe your use creates risk, harm, or legal exposure
- we are required to do so by law
You may stop using Pocket Planner at any time.

Pocket Planner is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
Pocket Planner is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
## 11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Planner and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pocket Planner and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:
- your use of the Services
- Your Content
- your violation of these Terms
